The Aqualand water park, in Costa Adeje is located in the south of the island close to Playa de las Americas, and offers an excellent variety of tourism activities which include a dolphinarium and water park with attractions for all ages. Aqualand's most popular water attractions include Kamikaze, Super Slalom, Twister, Anaconda, Crazy Race and Mini Park, but the star attraction of this fantastic water park is the Boomerang. Inaugurated in 2004.  Boomerang is a vertiginous round trip on a large float; a trip that will leave you gasping for breath.

You will find Aqualand just off the TF-1 (main motorway) at exit 29 in Playa de las Americas, as you exit from the motorway, head straight up the hill for about one and a half kilometres where you will find Aqualand on the left hand side. If you are arriving to the water park by hire car then there is a small car park 100 metre’s before Aqualand. If the car park is full then travel past the main entrance where you should find a parking space on the roadside. There is also a free bus service which runs to and from the park throughout the day from selected pick up points in the main tourist areas. The park is open daily from 10am until 5pm throughout the year.

Inside the water park there is one family restaurant, a self service restaurant and a few fast food outlets selling snacks and ice creams. The main gift shop offers a wide range of holiday souvenirs which include soft toys, t-shirts, stationary products and other trinkets to remind you of your visit to Aqualand.

The Aqualand Rides

Tornado

The Tornado offers an unbelievable combination of a sudden decent with faster than ever twists and turns. Drop down from the launch area as you quickly speed up before arriving in the swirl pool Most significant is the "centre-core corkscrew exit" - this ground breaking technology and design creates a safe, smooth and consistent rider motion through the centre of the bowl and into the plunge pool.

Twister

Ride the Twister at your peril. Pick a lane and then descend in total darkness while you twist and turn at high speed before plunging into the splash pool at the bottom of the hill. This ride is a true adrenalin rush and not for the faint hearted.

Mini Park

The Mini Park is a specially designed children’s area where they can play in a safe environment. They will have plenty of fun filled adventures on the Pirate Galleon or in the Children’s water castle.

Kamikaze

The most extreme water ride Aqualand has to offer. Climb the steps to the start point of the ride. When you are ready, throw yourself down a near vertical slide as you reach incredible speeds. The wildest doom drop of them all this is a serious adrenalin junkie adventure. A height restriction of 1.25 metres applies on the Kamikaze.

Super Slalom

The Super Slalom consists of a selection of separate slides all with their own individuality. Feel the twists and turns as you are propelled down the Giant slalom before crashing in to the landing pool at the bottom. With 5 to choose from a different adventure is experienced each time you ride.

The Rapids

No water park is complete without this fun filled adventure ride and Aqualand is no different. Suitable for all the family this superb thrill ride takes you through twists and gentle turns which include powerful whirlpools and sudden still pools. Slip and slide your way down White-water Mountain. The kids will love it?

Congo River

The Congo River is a 500 metre river journey on a raft. Lie back and relax on the soft tubes as the slow-flowing river takes you through lush sub-tropical gardens as you and your family are slowly propelled around the park. This ride is the perfect way to regain your strength and recharge your batteries before taking on some more extreme rides.

Anaconda

The Anaconda takes you on a twin spiral trip, as intense as you can ever imagine. You are propelled down at high speed through the double tight twist before crashing into the main pool below.

Crazy Race

The Crazy Race is one of the most popular rides at Aqualand. Pick one of the four wide lanes as you hurl yourself off the edge and spin and turn your way down the slide. Total freedom is experienced as you splash your way to the bottom. Why don’t you race your friends in this fun filled family attraction?

Children’s Paradise

New to Aqualand in 2010 is Children’s Paradise. A specially designed fun filled Adventure Park for younger children. Let their imagination run wild in this perfectly safe environment as they play on the slides and waterfalls.

Boomerang

Thrill seekers won’t be able to get enough of this awesome new ride as you plunge down a sheer 11m drop at an angle of 70 degrees – it feels like it’s almost vertical!! Ride if you dare, reaching exhilarating speeds of up to 50km/h as you fly in forward and reverse motions in an extreme thrill experience including a ‘zero gravity’ sensation. It’s great fun for all the family.

Dolphins of Aqualand

To finish off a perfect day of leisure activities, there is nothing better than attending one of the world-class dolphin shows which includes jumps, acrobatics, intelligent movements, exercises and is definitely an unforgettable experience for the entire family. The Dolphinarium has 15 bluenose dolphins of which eleven were born in the park.
