During this last week here in Golf del Sur, we have seen a considerable rise in the amount of properties that we have taken on our books for sale. I have taken this as a sign of confidence from sellers that the market has taken a slight turn for the better. However, do not expect Golf del Sur property prices or those in Amarilla Golf to be rising sharply any time soon. Although local newspapers are reporting that there has been a small rise in real estate prices of 0.4 per cent over the last month and a 0.8 percent rise within the last year which is encouraging, there is still this feeling that the market remains subdued and is just treading water.

This property news is encouraging, but it must be borne in mind that the outlook remains uncertain as the economic recovery is expected to remain sluggish with prices either remaining static or perhaps even drifting lower over the coming year.
