Fresh In - Amarilla Golf Property Bargain

We have to start this week with a recently acquired Amarilla Golf property bargain that is a must-see and ideal for someone who wants an ongoing project. This 2 bed 2 bath detached Amarilla Golf villa is situated in a quiet road in the middle of La Quinta and stands on a 320 square metre plot. It has its own swimming pool and off street parking and would make a good family home for the right person, but it does need some TLC hence the knock down price of 240,000 Euros.

You can view this Amarilla Golf property in full on our website.

Recently one of our property bargains was sold through the advertising on this site. The clients saw the property whilst reading the weekly blog, came into the office and the rest is history - one happy Golf del Sur property owner! It just goes to show that all forms of advertising do work to some degree or another.

More Property News for Costa San Miguel

What a difference a week makes! Last week I reported that in reading a UK newspaper it was said that millions of young people and families were warned that they may never be able to buy their own home because lenders will stop handing out generous mortgages. Well guess what? this week it is all change and the self same newspaper is reporting that we are seeing at least three lenders… HSBC being the leader, increasing the lending amount upwards toward 90% and the government stepping in to help first time buyers with a variety of suggested implementations that will allow first time buyers the opportunity to get on the housing ladder sooner rather than later. So watch this space as things look like changing on a weekly basis.

My report on Golf del Sur property and Amarilla Golf property from last weeks blog still stands, showing that we are on an even keel at present.

Homes and Away Property and General News

This week saw the issue of the Basura (rubbish) bills for the second half of this year. You have until 6th Jan 2012 to pay these. So check your bank accounts for those of you who pay by direct debit, and for those of you who pay cash - keep an eye out for the relevant postal delivery. You do not want to incur a fine so make sure it is paid.

This weekend sees a general election in Spain and although it will affect us residents who live here permanently in Golf del Sur, we are unfortunately unable to vote as the voting is open to Spanish nationals only.
