More from Tapas - Pata de Oro in Golf del Sur

Wow – January has been and gone and we’re halfway through February. I’m sure the months are getting shorter. What is happening to the weather in Golf del Sur? We may not be suffering extreme low temperatures like mainland Europe and the UK but I think this has been one of the coldest winters for a long time. This is not good news for holiday makers hoping for some winter sun but it’s been great for business. As folk haven’t been able to sunbathe our lunchtimes have been really busy helped along by our 20% discount which remains very popular.

Valentine’s Day was such a success with some lovely customers. Our a la carte board proved a great hit on the night with Lamb Catalan and Honey Roasted Duck being the most popular dishes. We aim for a varied selection of traditional dishes with a twist on our a la carte menu.

I hope those of you who came on Valentine’s night had a lovely evening. I was SO tired at the end of the night and didn’t feel like romancing at all!

We’re now stocking Copper Valley Wines Spanish Collection. We’re also waiting for delivery of some new New Zealand wines. Pop in and try some of our new ranges.

And now for something different……………………

On Saturday 10th March we’re holding a Psychic Dinner, in conjunction with the Witches Brew Psychic Café. This promises to be an exciting, different kind of evening. There’s a special menu and you can also have a Tarot card reading on the evening. Why not come along and find out what life has in store for you!
