Well ladies and gents, another Valentine´s day has come and gone with great success here at the Rendezvous Restaurant in Golf del Sur. Almost 50 guests joined us for a very romantic evening indeed. As guests arrived they were greeted shown to their seats and welcomed with a glass of Champagne. The true romantics could be seen linking arms and toasting each other, some remembering many years together and others looking forward to the years ahead.

Everyone enjoyed a wonderful 3 course meal served at a very leisurely pace, followed by coffee and chocolates, just in time for the evening’s entertainment to begin.

Dave Mac was on top form starting with a number of romantic ballads to compliment the evening. Then as the evening progressed it was time for the couples to have a dance together. We managed to clear a few tables to give some more room and at several points in the evening every single guest was on the dance floor.

Going by the happy faces leaving and the very kind comments from our customers it was a fabulously successful evening.

Given the huge success of the format for the evening we may consider something similar on a more regular basis. Keep your eyes peeled for further information.

• Marinated Spiced Duck Breast, Sautéed with Cherry Tomatoes on a bed of Fresh Rocket Topped with Goats Cheese, with a Warmed Sweet Chilli Dressing.

Main Courses

• Fresh Fillets of Dorada, Seabass and Salmon on a Fresh Asparagus and Saffron Sauce with Seared Julienne of Smoked Salmon.
• Medallions of Beef and Pork Fillet topped with French Mustard and King Scallops on a Rich Southern Comfort Shallot and Toasted Garlic Sauce.
