If you enjoy relaxation, peace and tranquility in a setting well away from the fumes of any motor vehicles with views across an 8 rink bowling green then the Rendezvous Bar & Bistro is without doubt the place to go. Well established and recognised in the area the Rendezvous Bar & Bistro continues to go from strength to strength and is now also widely recognised for it´s excellent entertainment.

The bar & bistro is wheelchair accessible and provides free entertainment every Monday & Saturday night as well as a quiz night every Friday.

Every Monday night Dave Handleigh entertains us with his Elvis MacPressley show which is without doubt one of the most popular entertainment shows and quite clearly demonstrates that the King´s music is still as popular with old and young alike as Elvis lives on through entertainers like Dave.

Saturday night entertainment is worked on a two weekly rotation, one week the entertainment has a 60´s theme with Aidy Evans and the following week its Country, Soul & Rock & Roll with Dave Mac but no matter what show you choose to see both provide excellent entertainment.

The daytime menu is available from 9am until 6pm and the evening menu starts from 6pm until 10pm.

Bistro Specials

Two special dishes are selected and prepared by our head chef, Colin every week to give you our customers that something a little bit special, these are prepared freshly each and every day especially for you.

This week´s specials are listed below and will be available from 6pm on Thursday 9th February until 10pm Wednesday 15th February.

Bistro Special 1: Cod Creole

Lightly Cajun spiced cod fillet, sautéed with banana served with a sweet chilli sauce and a choice of potato, chips, mash or new potatoes and a choice of either salad or vegetables for €8.50.

Bistro Special 2: Beef Chasseur

Sliced roasted sirloin of beef topped with a classic shallot, mushroom, tomato, tarragon and red wine sauce served with a choice of potato, chips, mash or new potatoes and a choice of either salad or vegetables priced at €8.75.

As always our sport is carefully chosen every week to try and cater for a variety of customers but it is worthy to make a note that even if it´s not listed here and if it´s possible, we´ll show it, just ask the staff.

The entertainment schedule for the week 13th – 19th February 2012 comprises of the following:-

Monday 9.30pm The extremely popular Elvis MacPressley show.
Friday 9.30pm, Quiz night, hosted by Mr I wish I was slimmer than Bill, yes folks its our Graham!!!!
Saturday 9.30pm, Country, Soul & Rock and Roll with Dave Mac.
