It’s a cliché, but for me it’s very true. I love my English Breakfast! It is now 3 years since diagnosis with Coeliac (or Celiac) Disease and living in Tenerife hasn’t changed anything, I still enjoy a fry-up. I am delighted that at Café Par, we now offer a complete English breakfast without Gluten. Rashers of sizzling back bacon, fried fresh tomatoes, fresh mushroom's sautéed in butter, farm fresh eggs lightly scrambled until fluffy or perfectly poached whichever you prefer. Do you like your eggs fried? Sunny side up or over easy? The choice is yours.
What about the sausage, well I have the perfect gluten free sausage to go with it. This pork sausage is delicious, meaty and lighted seasoned, and it looks handsome on the plate.
Try adding a gluten free hash brown to it, or Heinz baked beans. Gluten free fried bread? That’s not a problem either. Let’s not forget the toast, gluten free, hot and buttered.
Why not push the boat out, try the Café Par scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and wash it down with a glass of cold pink Cava.
Of course, a breakfast isn´t complete without a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice or if you like you can have pineapple or cranberry juice.
No English Breakfast would be complete without a cup of tea. I like mine strong – very strong! We will make it the way you want it, whether you choose English Breakfast, Darjeeling or Earl Grey. If you want Tetley’s then we have that too.
Lisa prefers coffee with breakfast, freshly ground Lavazza coffee with a drop of hot milk, try a cappuccino or latte with breakfast or an espresso for a kick start to the day.
It doesn't matter what your preferences are or whether you need to be careful what you eat, here at Café Par on the Golf del Sur, we can look after you. We open at 10am Monday to Saturday so if you want to try the best gluten free English breakfast on Tenerife then drop in and see us.
