Neil and Lisa welcome you to Café Par. Located in the tranquil surrounds of Fairway Village in Golf del Sur, and with wonderful views up to Mount Teide, it is the café bar restaurant with something for everyone.
Neil and Lisa extend a warm invitation to all to join them, Monday to Saturday, from 10 a.m. until late, serving breakfasts, lunches, snacks, afternoon tea and full evening meals.
With all dishes made on the premises, and many being wheat, lactose or gluten free, all visitors to Café Par will enjoy the best in home made food and can relax and unwind with a cold drink and enjoy the frequent entertainment.

My Husband and I have been to Tenerife many times over the past few years for our annual family holidays but we always had to be very careful when eating out. Neil my better half is a celiac himself so we have first hand experience of how difficult it is to be fully confident that the food he eats will not make him ill. Many a times on our Tenerife holiday Neil has ordered food after the usual conversation about what he can and cannot eat with the waiter. Tenerife is full of restaurants but many will tell you the food is safe to eat only to find out later that this was not the case...

It’s a cliché, but for me it’s very true. I love my English Breakfast! It is now 3 years since diagnosis with Coeliac (or Celiac) Disease and living in Tenerife hasn’t changed anything, I still enjoy a fry-up. I am delighted that at Café Par, we now offer a complete English breakfast without Gluten. Rashers of sizzling back bacon, fried fresh tomatoes, fresh mushroom's sautéed in butter, farm fresh eggs lightly scrambled until fluffy or perfectly poached whichever you prefer. Do you like your eggs fried? Sunny side up or over easy? The choice is yours.

Well Hello everyone and a very warm welcome to this Cafe Par's 1st blog of 2012, I cannot believe it is 2012 already where does the time go! Myself and Neil have just been on a wonderful cruise aboard the Brilliance of the Seas which is a fabulous Royal Caribbean ship, we sailed around the United Arab Emirates, through the straits of Hormuz where all the trouble is now and what a fantastic time we both had.

Cafe Par are pleased to announce that we will be selling 100% real Cod and chip's every Friday night here in Fairway Village, Golf del Sur from 6pm - 9.30pm from now on. With this old favourite will be the choice of garden or mushy peas and a cold glass of wine for under 10.00 Euros. Added to this you can choose from a selection of home made desserts.

With the festive season fast approaching, we at Café Par are offering our winter season price buster offer on our local beer. Throughout the whole month of December we are offering a large beer for only €1 between the hours of 10am and 6pm. We are open 6 days a week (closed Sunday) so why not bring your friends and your family for an early evening drink and enjoy the cheapest beer in Golf del Sur. The football season is now well underway, so why not come on down to Cafe Par to watch the Premier league and Champions league football in our very own sports pavilion, which is totally dedicated for sporting fans. Over the last few weeks we have been altering our outside pergola into a purpose built sports room where we will be showing not only football but also all other sports which are shown on TV. this includes Formula one, Cricket, Rugby, Golf and of course all the Football. Here at Cafe Par we pride ourselves on our home made food. We make chicken curry, lasagna, sausage rolls, home made soups, apple crumble, rhubarb crumble, sherry trifle, and cheese cake. For the coeliacs around Golf del Sur, or anywhere on the island of Tenerife we have a substantial choice from the menu. There is no danger of cross contamination as Neil, the chef is also a coeliac and takes special care in his food preparation.

Well here we are again, another eventful week at Cafe Par. Last Saturday was a fantastic night, It was our 1st anniversary party, Rokk Solid provided the sounds, Kelvin and Dave were brilliant!! Among our many party goers were, Ian, Natalie, Annabelle, Matisse, Nobby, Julie, Stewart, Miguel, Mo and Dave (also known as Slippers). The summer holidays have arrived! Our kids have about 6 months off school and all I hear is ¨I’m bored¨ or ¨Can I have some money¨? Hopefully it will also mean an increase in numbers of visitors to Costa San Miguel and Golf del Sur all of whom will be especially welcome here at Café Par.
