Atlantis Spa

The Atlantis Spa and Wellness Centre is situated on Golf del Sur adjacent to the Golf Plaza Spa Hotel. This fine facility is owned and run by the four star hotel but is also open to the general public. Many local residents make use of the gym and spa facilities and the hotel have made a lot of effort towards welcoming all guests and residents. It is also popular with many visitors on holiday around various Golf del Sur accommodations.

Gym, Aqua Gym and Squash

There is a well equipped gym if you feel like pumping iron or keeping up your fitness levels while you are on your vacation and sessions for the gymnasium or the aqua-gym can be purchased on a daily, weekly or monthly rate and are very reasonable. For the highly energetic there is a squash court which can be rented by the hour or for a half hour session, so don’t forget your squash racket if you fancy a game.

The Atlantis Spa was built with a major emphasis on relaxation and general wellbeing where they will spoil your body while enabling your spirit to relax. Their extensive services are ideal for getting into shape whilst encouraging relaxing and helping you to overcome stress.

General programmes have been designed for guests looking for some new vitality, general physical toning and fitness, and anti stress and relaxation. More specific programmes are also available to help with body shaping, cellulite treatment, back pains and tired legs.

Sensation Circuit

One of the most popular programmes is the “sensation circuit” which allows you to luxuriate for a few hours on a specially designed programme.

First of all you will enter the counter current pool where you will spend 5 minutes or so, before starting a 15 min session in the jacuzzi. Next comes the hydro-massage beds for 10 minutes before you hit the cascading waterfall. From here, it is time for the ice cold splash pool, followed by a 10 min session in the sauna. Then you end with another quick dip back in the splash pool before taking a 15 minute break on either the indoor or outdoor sun. After your refreshing break you will enter the Turkish bath before the ice cold splash pool yet again and another 15 minutes on the sun beds. The splash cube then follows, before taking your turn in the multi jet showers and the sensation showers. The relentless program continues with a final session in the sauna, another dip in the splash pool and ends with time to get your breath back on the outdoor terrace. Amazingly, the price for this refreshing “sensation circuit” is only 15€ and you should allow around two hours to complete it with the maximum benefit.

The Atlantis Spa is open from 10am until 8pm from Monday to Saturday and from 10am up until 2pm on Sundays.

Car parking is available for about 10 cars but ample parking spaces can be found on the main road in front of the Atlantic Spa or in The Green Park Holiday Complex next door.

Resident Members and hotel guests staying at The Golf Plaza Spa Resort will receive a 10% discount on treatments at the Atlantis Spa.
